Brincaolas: a rosé wine of solidarity from Bodega Sa Cabana to support the Nemo Foundation
At Bodega Sa Cabana we believe that wine can also be a tool to generate positive impact. That is why we present Brincaolas, our new Manto Negro rosé wine of 2024 vintage, created in collaboration with the Nemo Foundation, a non-profit organisation that supports families with children and young people with neurodevelopmental difficulties.
For every bottle sold, we donate €1 to the Nemo Foundation. A small gesture that adds up, with the hope of helping many families to ‘jump their own waves’.
What is Brincaolas?
Brincaolas evokes joy, movement and lightness. Like a little boy who braves the waves with energy and courage, the name represents a positive and dynamic spirit, in line with the mission of the Nemo Foundation. Every child and every family faces their own waves, and this wine is an invitation to support them on that journey, from the everyday and the tangible.

- Variety: 100% Manto Negro
- Graduation: 14%
- Origin: 35 year old vineyard, Vi de la Terra Mallorca
Elaboration:
- Manual harvest in 10-12 kg crates
- Cold maceration for 24 h
- Bleeding and fermentation in stainless steel
- Ageing on lees
Tasting notes:
- Colour: Pale pink with glints of rose gold
- Nose: Aromas of pomegranate, cherry, fresh strawberry and apricot, with caramelised notes typical of the Manto Negro
- Palate: Dry and pleasant, with a broad and unctuous passage, good acidity and fruit present throughout. Persistent and refreshing
Brincaolas is a versatile, elegant and lively wine, ideal to accompany aperitifs, Mediterranean dishes or simply to toast to a good cause.
Nemo Foundation: more than a foundation, a life mission
Fundación Nemo was founded in 2016 by the Codolá Félix family, based on their own personal experience. Its work focuses on accompanying families with children and young people with neurodevelopmental difficulties, providing them with support from a holistic and human approach.
Currently, the Nemo team – made up of professionals from different disciplines – attends to more than 800 families in the Balearic Islands. Its mission is clear:
- To favour the autonomy of children and young people
- To promote their development
- To empower families to identify opportunities for learning and improvement
- To offer access to treatment regardless of economic resources.
In addition, they work in educational intervention, emotional and social accompaniment, training for professionals, and manage a ‘nemobecas’ programme to ensure that no family is left behind. You can learn more about their work at fundacionnemo.org.
