ProWein 2026: the international wine fair where we share the character of Mallorca

ProWein 2026 brings the wine world together once again at one of the industry’s most important professional events. From March 15 to 17, the international wine and spirits fair will hold a new edition in Düsseldorf, consolidating a space where producers, importers, distributors, and gastronomy professionals meet to share knowledge, trends, and business opportunities. On this occasion, Bodega Sa Cabana will be present to showcase our wines from Mallorca and continue to bring our Mediterranean identity to an international audience.

For more than thirty years, ProWein has established itself as an essential meeting point for those who work with wine. The combination of organization, diversity of producers, and professional expertise has made this fair a benchmark on the international calendar. For us, participating in this context means opening a conversation with the world of wine from the uniqueness of our territory.

ProWein: a meeting place for the wine industry

To talk about ProWein is to talk about a trade fair that, year after year, has managed to bring together professionals from all corners of the sector. Its international recognition is no coincidence: it is the result of a track record built up over decades with a clear commitment to quality, professionalism, and connecting markets.

The fair offers an environment designed for direct exchange between producers and professionals in the trade and gastronomy sectors. Importers, distributors, sommeliers, and restaurant managers visit the different areas to discover new wines, explore regions, and strengthen business relationships.

One of the most characteristic features of ProWein is the breadth of its offering. Wines from established wine regions, projects from small producers with their own identity, sparkling wines from different traditions, and a wide range of spirits all coexist in the same place. Added to this diversity are new trends in the sector, such as low-alcohol wines and innovative proposals linked to technology and services for the wine trade.

This approach allows the fair to reflect the global landscape of the sector. More than just a showcase, ProWein has become a space where trends are anticipated, professional contacts are made, and strategies for the future of wine are designed.

Bringing Mallorca to the international stage

For us, participating in ProWein 2026 means more than just attending a trade fair. It is an opportunity to share the character of our wines and the landscape that makes them possible.

At Bodega Sa Cabana, we work from Mallorca with a vision that combines tradition and contemporary sensibility. Each wine is born from a dialogue between the vineyard, the Mediterranean climate, and the desire to express a territory with authenticity. International trade fairs allow us to tell that story beyond the island, bringing our wines to professionals who seek to discover new regions and styles.

At events such as ProWein, something very special happens: wine ceases to be just a bottle and becomes a topic of conversation. Those who come to taste it want to know the origin of the grapes, the landscape they come from, and how they are made. For us, this exchange is one of the most valuable aspects of participating in an international fair.

Sharing our wines in this context also means being part of a global dialogue about wine. Each region contributes its own accent, climate, tradition, and understanding of viticulture. From Mallorca, we bring a Mediterranean expression that speaks of sunshine, sea breezes, and vineyards that grow among hills and soils that hold memories.

At this edition of the fair, we will present a selection of wines that reflects the diversity of our project. Each one expresses a different aspect of our work in the winery and in the vineyard.

The collection we will be taking to Düsseldorf includes:

  • Merlot
  • Chardonnay
  • Giró Ros
  • Cabernet Sauvignon
  • S’Alegria
  • Xisca
  • Viure
  • Brincaolas

Each of these wines forms part of our journey as a winery. Some represent varieties that are widely known on the international scene, while others are more directly linked to the island’s Mediterranean identity.

Together, this selection showcases different profiles and styles, always under the same idea: to produce wines that convey balance, freshness, and respect for their origin.

“Every bottle we take to an international fair is also a way of telling people where we come from and how we understand wine.”

A gathering to share knowledge

Trade fairs have a dimension that goes beyond commercial exchange. They are also spaces where knowledge, experiences, and visions about the future of the sector are shared.

For three days, ProWein brings together thousands of professionals working in different areas of the wine world. The conversations that arise over a glass of wine can open up new perspectives, reveal affinities, or spark interest in regions that may not yet be well known.

For a winery like ours, these gatherings represent an opportunity to listen and learn. Direct contact with professionals from different countries allows us to understand how markets are evolving, which styles spark curiosity, and how Mallorcan wines are perceived in other cultural contexts.

At the same time, these spaces help reinforce something essential: wine remains, above all, a shared experience.

Looking to the future from the vineyard

Each edition of ProWein looks to the future of the sector. New trends, new technologies, and new ways of consumption are part of the international wine conversation.

From our location in Mallorca, we continue to work with the conviction that origin and identity remain fundamental elements. The vineyard, the landscape, and the care taken at each stage of production are the foundation on which we build our wines.

Participating in ProWein 2026 allows us to place that vision within a broader context. Among producers from different parts of the world, our wines find a space to engage in dialogue and showcase the character that comes from the island.

On March 15, 16, and 17, we will be there, sharing our bottles, our stories, and our way of understanding wine.

Because, in the end, every gathering over a drink is also a way to bring Mallorca closer to the world.
